If you have the resources - money to maintain your desired Team Leader rank, then I say go for it. I say maintain because if you do not have an active team of affiliates, it can be quite costly to maintain Team Leader rank.
I see that a lot of affiliates are BTL this month and the next month they are EA and then back to BTL and so on. They go up and down the ranks and this is quite common. I believe that the main reason why his happens is because they are not supported enough by their team of affiliates. Their affiliates are not maintaining their EA2 and TL ranks and their sponsors therefore do not get the benefit of sponsoring VPs.
That is why if you want to upgrade your rank from EA to Team Leader and maintain it or better still advance upwards, build your team, sponsoring and encouraging & helping them to be active and successful in SFI.
By the way as an EA, you start off building your team with the CSAs that SFI assign to you. You are already leading a team. There is absolutely nothing that I can find which says that you must have PSAs. You can build a team entirely of CSAs! Every month you are assigned a number of CSAs depending on your rank and you can also win them at auctions. Imagine that!!
