There is a considerable amount of debate about active PSAs vs inactive ones and what is the probability that the PSA I will join will be in the business long term.
In my time with SFI - which is now coming close to my 2nd year, I have had the following experiences with PSAs. Although I do not have statistics to confirm my conclusion that : you can never be sure who will stay with you long term or who will not. This is a reality we have to accept and move on.
You will therefore find that because there is no guarantee on the quality of sign ups you will receive, you cannot also be sure of their commitment to SFI. It is not something that is entirely in your control because PSAs who sign up are affected by the following factors:-
1. Ill health
2. Financial constraints - not being able to invest in the business after their first 2 months
3. Lack of support from close family members who constantly bring down the business and that affects the PSAs - to keep peace in the family they quit.
4. The need to become rich over night
5. Not being in a position to understand the concept of the business or finding it difficult to build and sustain a team.
Many or should I say, the majority of PSAs start off on a high note and then frizzle away but that should not stop you from sponsoring and concentrating on those who are working. It is important to keep the momentum going with the active team members that you have.
a) Organize competitions, reward your PSAs hard work, gift them suprises and ensure that you have a regular flow of new PSAs that you will mentor and encourage.
b) Do not waste your time and energy on those who do not wish to take the initiative but make sure that you not discard them altogether. Circumstances might change if any of the above factors have been in play - they may become active again, you never know.
