Hello, interesting question. In my opinion the yardsticks are:

1. Regular Communication - Sending inspiring, encouraging or sharing experience team mails
2. Support - if you ask question, the sponsor should give the most proper answer or suggestion
3 Recognition - if you become EA2, sponsor should recognize you and if there is you're new affiliate, to welcome you
4. Regular posts on Leader page - this shows presence
5. Treat you equally and with respect - you're special and no different then your sponsor or any other affiliate. Humans have equal rights to stay or leave the business.

I rate my upper line this way. This way the 5 stars are ready to be chosen.
