Your welcome message to new PSA you can always refresh or completely changed.
I changed many times my welcome message until finally was not good enough.
I do not know what it looks like your current message but I believe it is appropriate.
My opinion is that we should watch our new members as the friends - relaxed, without too many of professional terms, whish them welcome , give them enough clear information to help them to do Getting Started action, daily actions and to play T-time game (attach links essential video tutorials), to emphasize to them that you are there to help them, that they should not be worried because we were all at the beginning, and that they have confidence in you and SFI.
If members reading the welcome message they feel friendly mood will help themselves to engage in further work.
If the message is too commercial, full of technical words and overcrowded information - members will get confused and leave.
So, I sincerely hope that I have at least a little help.
