you need to encourage them because and i am assuming most of your down line are working people and for the most part they are discouraged at the amount of reading or learning they have to do.
Remind them that they have a FREE website and a FREE learning opportunity to make a monthly income online.Let them take the time they need (half an hour or so a day) and most of all teach them how to get people to their own website for FREE with Free classified adds.
Teach them your methods in getting affiliates with paid advertising that really work. Only then they will know that SFI is for real.
