You need to have a goal. Gery is always speaking of setting and updating goals and many overlook this important part of business.
First, you would have set some goals when you first joined SFI. There is at the foot of your goals tab, an area where you can update them. Go to this area frequently – at least monthly. As you progress, you goals will change and they need updating.
When your goals are set, you then need a marketing plan set out on how you are going to reach these goals. So you want to be a team leader. When do you want to be a team leader? Realistically, how long do you think it will take you to get there and when you are there, can you maintain this rank long term?
This is where the notebook comes in handy. Write out your goal. Write out how one actually gets there. There is advertising to consider as well as communication, sales and general daily tasks.
Advertising is a very important part of any business whether it be online or bricks and mortar. There is free advertising and paid advertising and they are both good ways of letting people know what you are doing. Plan your advertising well and make sure you have keycodes on them all so you can see which are generating sales and which are not.
Refer to your notebook each day and make a note on how you can improve. A small improvement every day will soon amount to bigger things and ultimately your success in SFI.
