For some reason I feel this question is ironic, because I think a sponsor should be active without notice by their affiliates ( downline ).
I had a very bad experience, because my direct sponsor (I don't know why,he chose op out from SFI) and I got new sponsor from SFI.
I sent him an email welcome and say about my need for his support.
Not just once I did it, but I never get a reply, although just saying "Hi".
I also always try to active in the forum, I ever got the Forum Guru badges , I try to answer Ask SC and got the VP for it. All I did to make my name always appears on the tab ' Movers ". At the beginning of the month I gave him rating 1 dan comments about my needs the support from him. I hope he'll start contacting me and behaved like a sponsorship,
But until I wrote this, he never contacted me, to the point I was thinking, did I see his picture on the his Leader Page is real?..
In the end I thought, okay ...I will walk alone, I don't want a negative response from my sponsor affects my step.
I assure myself, I can overcome everything without my direct sponsor.
Mr. Gery is my main sponsor, he was there for me 24/7 through the tools provided by SFI, and certainly all the tools provided by SFI is an initiative from him.
So in my opinion,try to notice and ask guidance from our sponsor it's good....but we have to prepare ourself with bad result ( no response from him ),because success is on depend on us not a sponsor.
