I use the mailer to send out my weekly newsletter / tutorial to my entire team. You will probably have more inactive than active affiliates in your team but you can not give up on them but it is wise to spend more time and energy on your working / active affiliates.
Apart from my weekly mail to my team, I use e-cards and personal e-mails to communicate with my movers. I handle their questions as they come up, communicate one on one, send e-cards with tips when needed, to motivate, congratulate and encourage. When I see they are not logging in and working as usual I send a short e-mail to offer help and to find out what the reason is. I do the same with my CSA's - if they approach me I help, if not I just send e-cards to congratulate.
The whole idea around my approach is to let every person in my team know I am not giving up on anybody and to let my movers (PSA and CSA) know their hard work is noticed and appreciated and that they are important to me.
