Both systems of communication with your PSAs are excellent, with the following advantages:--
1. With PSA Mailer System: This directly identifies your SFI Status to your PSA; and since it's through the SFI Mailing system which cannot be forged, it also shows the genuineness of your SFI Affiliate Membership which your PSA can cross-check independently through his/her own Affiliate Membership Page. So, your PSA is at rest of mind that he/she is not receiving any form of SPAM mail.
2. By directly contacting your PSAs via their email address: This shows your personal commitment as a Sponsor. And more than that, it also brings you into a somewhat closer interaction with your each PSA.
However, my suggestion is that before you can adopt this 2nd method of communication with any of your PSAs, please, please, and please, ensure that you have previously started with item (1) above, first.
This 2nd method only strengthens your position and makes the receiving PSA to feel more comfortable with you, after having seen your mails through the 1st method a couple of times.
