There are 3 things that I include in my first email. I make it in summarized form so that it's short but with substance.
1. Something that would build his confidence in SFI.
I usually give him few important information about SFI, how long the company have existed, the company's physical address and how many are joining daily.
2. I assure him that I am committed to help him succeed in SFI
I tell him to contact me any time if he needs help. I also give him different ways to contact me. Inside SFI website, email, Skype and Facebook.
3. I give him short over view of different ways to earn at SFI.
I summarize the compensation plan, they can earn from different commissions from different types of affiliates and a share from company's profit if he qualify.
What he needs to do then is to find affiliates and to qualify to get the share of company's profit by earning points.
I tell him further that I am committed to him both.
