When a baby is born, he/she does not know a lot of things. Through education and experience, a small human being grows up and gradually knows about many things and is able to do a lot of things.
Being shy is may be an inborn trait or may be because of an upbringing environment. This shyness can be tackled with accordingly. In terms of doing business, the shyness can be modified with time. For example, a shy person can learn to be more comfortable with new people as he/she meets them regularly. Communicate with as many people as you can so that you can have a big number of friends.
You can get new friends at your work place ( just increase your social horizon ), join a volunteering group in your community, participate in social occasions or fulfill party invitations. Later, meeting people will become natural for you. And without realizing it, you will not be a shy person anymore! You courage and confidence will evolve over time through socializing, learning, practicing and making errors. You will develop valuable social skills which will have a great impact on your business, especially if you are doing sponsoring offline.
When you feel comfortable with them and they also feel the same, at an appropriate time, you just start a conversation about your business.
But, for me, being shy has a minimal impact if you are doing an online business, like SFI. You at least need to develop a communication skill, especially writing skill because you are going to have a team globally.
The second part of your question is about being internet savvy. Being shrewd, competent and well-informed in computer and internet knowledge and skills, are of great help. To become an internet savvy actually can be learned. It’s not an impossible task but it certainly takes your time and energy. You can get many tutorials or attend computer classes to learn about computer and internet. Do make a sacrifice of you want to become a master in network marketing.
Anyway, I feel that SFI has make our jobs easy. All internet complexities and tough network interconnections are being thought of by a group of SFI think tank.
