SFI Provides us all the training we need when it comes to advertising, and the internet. I can imagine that no matter how shy you are this may not be true with close friends and family so for them all you need to do is tell them you joined an affiliate marketing program and that you are trying it out for free and that they too should try it out because all training is free and if they don't like it they can always opt out and all you need to do is give them your SFI gateway. Do you really need internet savvy here? No.
So the point is that your are provided with methods that do not require internet savvy because these are the beginner methods some are 100% free and can be done in minutes. If you are too shy to talk then you can use your cellphone to send a text ad as a text message and ad your gateway.
Once you master the beginner methods then you should start looking at the internet income lessons that are in the training section on the black menu bar of the affiliate center. You can also go to the library or bookstores where you can get books to learn about the internet. You can also visit YouTube and iahabe.org for tutorials about the internet.
In simpler terms start with the beginner methods to help overcome shyness and at the same time go over the internet income lessons and look at SFI tutorial videos on youtube to learn about internet advertising.
One way to overcome shyness is to do Christmas shopping or shopping for other special occasion gifts to friends and family and then attach a greeting card with a TC gift card and SFI promo card inside to the gift. You can also add a gift card with a letter giving instructions on how to redeem the gift card when you go to a restaurant and pay the bill to the waiter as an addition to the tip.
So the purpose of advertising is to develop confidence overtime and before you know it you will be very internet savvy. ????
