Successful human interactions are based of openness and ability to communicate.
The issue of lack of internet skills seems to be popular today.
But both shortcomings (shyness and not being internet savvy) can be overcome.
My advice is to tackle them in two steps.
For now, an affiliate who is confronted with these two handicaps should focus on their warm market: talking to people they know well. That is relatively easy to do, and it may bring an initial success that will get the affiliate bolder in talking to people.
Developing internet skills is the next goal. Many public libraries in the US offer free basic computer and internet skills. The affiliate will be well advised to take advantage of such opportunities.
Overcoming shyness is also very much possible. There is a large segment of self help books addressing this questions. These books are also available in most public libraries around the world. It is a very popular topic.
While the affiliate is working on these self development areas, they can still grow their business.
