Yes you can say that it is a good method of attracting new PSAs, but you may face the following problems:
Many people will respond to the call as I am not interested in online Internet Business.
Others will not give you appointment to meet you personally.
Few of them who do not like to interact with strangers may refuse to divulge their email address.
I personally have put down my phone receiver many times whenever I listen…….I am so and so calling from so and so company and are offering such and such thing. These calls are so irritating and ill timed.
It would unnecessary add extra expenditure to your phone bills for the month
POSITIVES
There are so many Online Internet businesses that your Ads of SFI get generally lost, but if you are lucky to get a good response from a client who gives you an appointment, you may get a good prospect just by a call from the cozy corner of your house.
GENERAL POINTS
You need to be patient and persistent in your calls. You should be prepared to listen to 50 rejection before you get one positive response.
You should select appropriate time for your calls. Never call when people are getting ready to go to office and running in or around their bath room.
Never give calls at lunch time, most people would be busy with lunch & a after lunch nap between 1300 to 1400 hrs PM.
Be very polite to the naysayers and ask if you could call them at some other time. Take the next possible appointment.
Do not brag/drag about the opportunity you are offering, just take the appointment and explain them only after visiting them personally
