The best way to use a PSA's profile is to check their VP Ledger to see what they are and aren't doing so that you can guide them: encourage them with what they are doing and help them to start doing what they're not doing.
Be gentle, encouraging and come across like you know they will do it. If they don't follow your lead than that's the choice they made and if you can't deal with that situation you already know you've done what you can and you should be able to walk away. They can ask questions if they need.
