It's one of the most arguable statement, are salespeople born or made.
Anyone is born to do sales or whatever they want to do, it is how the person development were when they grow up that will make or break you.
The first thing that any person that want to go into sales have to learn is that people buy products or services and you are the one that have to develop yourself in mastering the game.
As I told many sales executives before on my team, "Remember the customer is king and they know what they want. You, on the other hand, have to sell yourself and what I meant by that are, you have to learn the product, learn the customers behavior and must know how to build a relationship with the customer. Never try to make a sale on the first call and never force your product down the customers throat."
This is the most important thing ever in sales, relationship, trust and quality of service delivery.
