Individual letter is a must. It should be preceded by a Welcome - E Card.
Personalized welcome letter will create a warm and friendly climate for the new member to feel assured. This will motivate him to communicate back.
First impression is the best impression. Our communication should not be " mechanical " just speaking about "Do this and Don't do that" will only make the new affiliate skeptical. Worst - he may decide to quit sooner than one imagines.
The initial communication should just congratulate him for joining SFI Business as an Independent Contractor. It can welcome him to your Team making him feel your deep joy in having him in your Team.
Then, your letter can highlight your commitment to support him so that every one can grow step by step, together continuously.
When our intention is right, naturally the execution will also be right.
A open minded communication with a genuine and honest feeling towards the other person's well being and growth will certainly open the heart of the other person. You will be able to develop a good rapport soon which will blossom into a fine bonding in future.

I would say, YES!! Its worthwhile to create individual, personalized welcome letters to new PSAs using information from their Affiliate Profile. At the same time, do remember, we do not know how many of them would have filled their Profile Page. But, still it's a good attempt.
