Thank you for asking this question. I cannot speak for everyone. I won't even try. I'll be as straight forward as I always on, please forgive me if it comes across blunt. I'm very direct in my style. I mean no harm. I want your success, you work hard for it.
To clarify, you are asking if you should advise your new PSA to slow down and not qualify as Team Leaders so quickly.
Very clearly, NO.
By advising someone whom may or may not have the financial means or the mental strength, or the sheer determination to be the absolute best at what they do, you are inadvertently making a judgement about the capability of your new affiliate. I must ask, whom am I to judge the ability or drive of anyone? Whom are any of us to place restriction on another?
The bare facts are simple. If the Affiliate sees possibility in SFI anywhere remotely near the possibilities I see in SFI, no one and nothing will stand in their way. There's a saying, "Lead or get out of the way, and let someone who WILL lead take charge."
Their success means your success. No matter whether you know the affiliate on a personal level or not, they can read. It's very clear that there are many sweet VersaPoints sitting on the table to be taken at will the first month. After even two days of reading, it's sjust as clear that month two, three and four will not be nearly as lucrative in VP collection. Affiliates can see that, and perhaps a note in a newsletter to the entire team will get this information to the affiliates without taking the wind out of the sails of a serious Fast Track affiliate, a possible future Platinum Team Leader, whom is on your team.
I'd be remiss to advise you to do anything other than step aside and cheer the go-getter on!! His or her success is directly effecting your success!!
Get out the banners and bullhorn, sister, and direct this battering Ram on the right path and cheer until he or she makes it to the point where they see their ability run start to falter. Then, step behind them, remind them of their courage and strength, state your belief in them, and cheer them on some more!!
If you do this? Well, then, I'll see YOU at the top!!
