Creating individual personalized welcome letters to your new PSAs using the information they provided is a great idea. People like to see the personal touch it lets them feel like they are more of a team instead of just another “down-line” affiliate.
There is a small problem with this and that is when you might have a few hundred affiliates signing up within the month. You will not have the time to personally address each affiliate.
If that is the case then send your personal letters to those who are already busy and showing up on your movers page. Be sure to set your “movers” notice up to the top 50 this way you will be less likely to miss a new mover.
Make sure your welcome letter is a little more personalized by using the “~FIRSTNAME~” command in the begging of your letter – in the middle of the letter and at the end of the letter. People like to see their own name when being addressed this action helps to alleviate the “automated” response a little.
One of the things you might do is to take notice of is their language and then send your first letter to them using a translator to change your message to their language. This is a great personal touch that they know for sure it wasn’t an automated message.
Another tool when addressing your new affiliates is to use the “Welcome” Ecards. Send a personal short message to each new member no matter how long it takes. This is a personal touch that stands out in SFI and TripleClicks as a great free tool that is not available anywhere else (That I know of).
Any time that you can add the personal touch to communicate with your new affiliates is a sign of an awesome sponsor.
