I would stress the fact that SFI is not a pyramid or get rich quick scheme. Nor is it an investment site where you can expect an exaggerated 400% ROI within a few weeks. SFI offers you a platform to build a business with and a very large community of support and knowledge. Taking months, heck years, to build up a solid profitable business that will sustain itself for years to come. Give broad examples that put their position into perspective [maybe like "a person doesn't start their education at grade 12 and graduate within a week"] and gently map out for them all the factors they must first understand and apply before they can expect to see a larger (if any) return or commission. I would also make a point of directing them to some of SFI's success stories and let them know that they, themselves, through study, application, duplication, and commitment can achieve like results. Encourage them to connect with those who are behind these testimonials and gain insight as to how they became to successful (again with the duplication)
Most of all I would encourage them to continue as there will come a day they will look at all they have achieved and be proud
