The best way to communicate to your team is all dependent on results. any method of communication that does not yield the desire result is not the best one. i hope you will agree with me on that.
so to get the best communication is to identify also, the one that they can easily understand and at the same time be able to reach you. if your communication does not revolve in this, then your purpose of communication is zero.
Thirdly, you should know also at your finger tips the various communication that there are and which one will suit your team and what are they?
1. Whatsapp
2. Skype
3 The Social Media
4. Phone Number
5. Emails
6. Instant Message just to mention a few.
Now it is left for you to know which one of the above is accessible by your team members. how many of them have the above facilities.
if 80% uses one of the above more, then i'l advice you to go to center on that. i use that principle a lot and it works for me and what will i recommend? i will recommend the Social media. why? because, most of your team members have friends that they will love to reach out too especially on facebook. why facebook? because Facebook has so upgraded 95% of most phones to be able to browse their page, this will give you phantom opportunities to reach out to your team.
i have over 90 PSAs and i reach most of them through this way and i am having great results.
Also, some of your team members may not open their emails for a while and may not have opportunities to have access to skype and whatapps so if you have important message to them, how do they access it in their emails if you don't reach them through this way. i realize that am able to talk to most of my team members this way and letting them know about the emails i have sent to them, most replied sharing their present challenges in the business to me and am able to help them.
so go for the social media communication especially facebook. 95.5% of your team members will be there and they will be very happy that you cared enough to reach out to them through this medium.
