This is interesting question.

I don't think that there is such a thing as helping your affiliates TOO much.

First thing is that you should offer your help to every affiliate from your team, regardless if they are yours PSA's or CSA's.
If there are affiliates who wants more help, advice, or support, you should give it to them.
On the other hand, there are also very successful affiliates which do not ask quite often for the assistance.

So, you should estimate what is the right measure for the assistance.
Nevertheless, there is no too much of help.
