I know you asked this question because we have a lot of PSA who are not active and we wonder if they even read our messages.
This is important to us as sponsors because if we know that at least our messages are read at least we can say that they are there. Unlike if they are not even reading our messages, they are totally not interested.
SFI Messaging system is easy to know. You just go to Message Manager by clicking the Message link just above the three buttons near your profile.
Then click the pull down menu and click on Sent Messages. If the messages you sent is still on bold letter it means the recipient did not read it. All read messages are not in bold letter.
How about in regular email, How can we know that our email was opened?
There are many solutions for this but most will require you to send an HTML type email where a script will be placed in the email itself.
But if you are using G-mail you can tract your email now with RighInbox, you can forget all that fancy HTML email settings, and still be notified when a person opens and reads your email.
RightInbox is a Chrome browser extension for Gmail that will allow you to schedule the sending of an email, and now with the extra feature to track when your email is opened.
It’s very easy to start with, all you need is the Chrome browser, and the RightInbox extension. Just Download and install it.
After Installation is done, open your Gmail Inbox or refresh if it’s already opened. A notification will appear, click ‘Continue’ and then follow the instruction to allow it to access your Gmail.
Now to start tracking your next email, click on ‘Compose’ button in your Gmail Inbox. In the compose area, you will see an additional ‘Track’ button appear in-line with your ‘Send Now’ button. To track this email, simply check the ‘Track’ button before you hit ‘Send Now’.
