Stores don't want to create clutter nor promote for their competition. So speak with a manager and assure them that what you offer does not conflict with the store's brands. Skipping this step can get you in hot water and at the least your flyer will wind up in the trash can.
Churches also have bulletin boards. Again, be cautious because some of the presbytery will not want anything but church related events and functions on the board. So speak with the person in charge of the postings and get permission to put a flyer on the board.
