To Initiate a conversation with anyone
You need to start by introducing yourself properly.
Get to know your PSA properly very important, because people have different perception
Then you talk about HIM let the discussion be entirely about him, throwing in clue question, to understand his purpose and reason of signing up and how he intend to achieve that.
If clueless like I was when I first started out be the one to navigate the discussion to suit him, not to scare him off, not too much information just the basics, refer him to Basic and start up
After that tell the new PSA how much fun you are having and What a great opportunity SFI is, state out all the benefits the stand to enjoy.
Encourage him and bless him
In summary the centre of such a discussion is about getting to know yourselves and encouraging the PSA, not so much centred on guidelines and mentorship, basically friendship and from there he will call back for another time.
