I would first make the person feel comfortable, then I think You should discuss what they think of SFI and why they joined, reminding them that it isn't a get rich quick scheme.
Also ask them will they be able to do at least 1 hour a day to do the TO-DO-LIST and read some of the alerts and go to the forum so the person can get used to reading and sharing ideas. Also assure them that you will be there for them to help them duplicate what your doing to be successful. Remember something new is always hard until they catch on.
