I'm an ECA wanting to sell my products internationally. How do I determine how much to charge for shipping to other countries that is fair to both me and my customers?
From the USA you can just let SFI figure the cost of shipping at the time of the sale. The purchaser will know what that amount is at the time he hits the ORDER button.But you must submit the total weight of the object plus the packaging at the time you write the item description. Also TC does not add on the extras like insurance and tracking, so if you want to do that, then include them in your item price.
Shipping is expensive, but I have found that if the person wants your product, he will pay the shipping.
You might also want to search out foreign companies that will drop ship items for you to their nearby countries for a lesser shipping cost.
