Everybody tells you the easiest way to become (or maintain) EA every month is to have a 1500 VP Standing Order, but that only applies if you can spare about $35-$40 per month.
Now, if that is too much, the thing to do is calculate the number of VP you can earn BEFORE you place a S.O.. For example, just doing all the activities on the TO DO list will give you a minimum of 450 VP. If you also do the monthly actions EVERY MONTH you get another 15.
That totals a minimum of 465 VP Every Month without leaving your computer. Now, you only need 1050 VP
If you use free advertising, place lots and lots of ads for TripleClicks, you may earn some VP from sales, but you may still need to spend a little money (not necessarily a S.O.) but you will need to purchase 1 or more items.
In that case, you should buy those things that will benefit you most. If you live near an ECA Store that has Local pay and will call options, you could buy from them so you have no shipping costs.
If not, you can get that last 1050 VP by ordering 11 single TCredits for $1.99 each (but you MUST buy them individually--NOT as a 10 pack) which will cost you $21.89. That will give you 1122 VP + your 465 (from just the TO DO List)for a total of 1587 VP and EA Status again.
Personally, I would rather spend a little more money and buy some TCredits to bid with, play games with, or award to new PSAs and buy either a unit of S-Builder or a 10 pack of PSAs To Go but the choice is always yours.
The important thing to remember is that a S.O. is NEVER required. You can get that 1500 VP every month, but you will just need to find some other ways of getting them. A S.O. is just the quickest way but not necessarily the easiest way!
