I think I'd take more time to read and go through the training. I think a lot of us get so excited when first starting out and it's easy to overlook things. I would try to slow down and not do everything as fast as I could.
I wouldn't be so eager to start prospecting as I really did not know enough about SFI to become a sponsor. It's important to have a good understanding of each component of SFI in order to provide the best support for a team. It leaves a negative impression on new folks if their sponsor does not know what they're doing. ;)
So, if I could start over again, I would take my time reading and taking the LaunchPad lessons and remember this is a marathon, not a sprint.
