I think having your own blog will contribute greatly to your success with SFI. A blog is another gateway and entry point into the world of SFI. Your blog will be the eyes and sales funnel for the people who may not like the ads they see from corporate. Something on your blog may appeal to prospective sfi members more than any other gateway into SFI.
A blog allows you to add even more free traffic than just classified ads, safelists, traffic exchanges etc. Now you can get into things like organic traffic that will have your site running on auto-pilot.
Your link will look a lot more cleaner when you leave messages on forums and blog posts rather than affiliate or cloaked links.
With blogging power you also release your voice. You have more control over your words and style type. Instead of having to follow guidlines or wait for posts to be approved in order for your voice to be seen across the net. Now you are an OWNER and have the benefits and responsibilities of one.
You may not look at it like that because there are so many ugly blogs out there where people kind of mistreat this wonderful power of blogging. But if you take your blog seriously there is no reason why your blog will not be a major part of your success at sfi, if not the best reason for it. Blogs are THAT Powerful!
