A powerful way to get my team understand the potential of SFI and Tripleclicks is to help each affiliate think and make better decision on a long term goal by using GOSPA (goals, objectives, strategies, plans, and activities) method of strategic analysis and critical thinking.
These long term goals are long-term targets and desired outcomes. I will show my team how to set long term goals since SFI is a long term business and this translates to how much money each affiliates want to earn in the coming year.
You can start by taking your highest gross income year and increasing it by 25% to 50%. If the most that you have ever earned in one year is $50,000 , then set goal to earn $62,000 over the next 12 months. If you're more ambitious, you can set a goal to earn $75,000 over the next year. Once you've determine your annual income and sales goals in SFI and tripleclicks, the next is to break them down by months, weeks and day.
If annual income is $60,000 then monthly income goal is $5,000. You work 52 weeks per year. This means you want to earn $1,200 each week and $240 per day, 5days a week for example.
The Final exercise is to determine desired hourly rate. How much do you want or need to earn each hour, in order to earn your daily income goal, weekly and annual goal. If your annual goal is $60,000, you divide this number by 2000 hours (250days × 8hours) to determine hourly rate of $30.
In conclusion, from this day forward the affiate in the team must refuse to do anything during the day that does not pay him or her $30 per hour or more if the initial goal was an annual income of $60,000.
