Auto responder is one of the best tool that we can set-up to immediately respond to anyone who show interest with SFI. We set this up as we received sign-up, or queries in our website.
SFI as you observed has auto responder it sends email once someone sign-up or do something significant. Although auto responders lost its personal touch we can overcome it by properly choosing words that will sound personal.
An important question asked is how do we know that our auto responder is working? I would say that the best way to know is to test it with dummy account. Here's how to do the testing:
1. Sign-up a free email account in Yahoo or Gmail.
2. Sign-up to your website where you set your auto responder.
3. Do something that will trigger the auto responder according to your set up.
4. look into the inbox of the email address that you used (in step 1). If you see an email from your auto responder, then your auto responder is working.
