I have read a lot of answers on this question!
I would like to add. If you want to be a leader, born or not, you have to know the business. How can you lead people, if you can't provide answers and solve problems or answer questions?
Anyone can be a team leader, if they are willing to learn and then teach, what they want the people under them to learn!
So, if you want to be a leader, start reading all that SFI offers you, if you don't know an answer, look for 1! I use all the SFI recourses when 1 of my team members have a question. Be there when they need help and congratulate them when they achieve/win something. It is great giving and receiving recognition!
