In my opinion, I think sending out individual welcome letters is better. The welcome letter new PSAs receive is one of the first forms of communication that they get when they join. A new PSA is not going to care if they were part of a large group that we (sponsors) receive in a day. They will want to feel like they are special and not just a number on our list.
I don't mean that you have have to tailor each welcome letter completely to fit each new PSA. You can have a standard letter that you have ready to send out and then take a few seconds to add an extra touch before you send it. Something that makes them feel welcome and that you really appreciate that they are on your team.
