How do I get people who are Engaged with other Network Marketing businesses to take a look at SFI?
If you are dealing with someone who is pitching you their program you should be polite, let them finish their presentation, and never attack their program. Just make note of things SFI has that they didn't mention and ask them questions so they too get to thinking about the things their company doesn't provide or could do better at.
Be sure to establish with your questions what is free, what is paid, and what is at an additional cost. Some companies like a very popular blog program going around offer free training but also offer several levels of paid training once you get started with each leading you to buy the next. I just did a couple articles on a MLM company for a client where they offered the training with your basic product commitment but in order to sell their products you had to pay for your affiliate gateways which are not stand alone sites, they do not have separate coding from any other member's site and are basically the same page with only the referring affiliate's name and ID changed in them.
When they are done, thank them for the overview and ask them if they would mind hearing about the company you are currently in.
Many will say no. The world is greedy they want to sell not run risk of buying or joining. They will tell you things about not having the time etc.. I tell them thanks for their time but I found several reasons to stay with SFI in your presentation. Sometimes that will stop them in their tracks and make them give you the time, sometimes they will have to sleep on what you said and then will contact you for that talk, and sometimes they will shrug it off because they are dead sure their offer is the best thing going.
If you are addressing program hoppers, an affiliate you have seen promoting at least 3 different companies in the past year follow this procedure.
Let them know that you have noticed them promoting several opportunities and nothing seems to stick. They seem like they are searching for something and then ask them what exactly they are looking for in a home business when they are out looking. Then ask them about their vision for the next 5 years, what they would like to achieve in that time.
Lastly ask them for 10-15 minutes of their time to discuss a company they might be interested in calling home.
Be sure to stay away from using the word free, it cheapens the presentation and people wonder how they can earn a lot of money if nothing is being sold. A MLM or Network Marketing professional doesn't care about what's free as much as what is the product and how will I earn money. Telling them we have no cost training and a zero commitment tour with no pressure and no auto-ship will peek an interest but above all they want to know, “how much money can I make, how will I make it, and how stable is the company?”.
They will want to see any testimonials you can find, and see TripleClicks. They will want to hear your personal SFI journey, and why you joined and more importantly why you stayed with SFI. They will want details on each of the income streams. Most will not be interested in SFIPPA because it really isn't designed for the serious affiliate but most will be very interested in the ECA program because of years of buying product in excess of their personal needs to meet a auto-ship requirement or reach a certain BV or Buyers Volume. If they have been in MLM for 5 years they have a ton of potions, lotions, vitamins, and remedies etc.. they can put up for sale and many will be interested in the marketplace even if they don't join SFI.
The reasons to look at SFI though are those things where their company doesn't do well. Most often it's training and upline support. Or it will be a sense that questions go unanswered on training calls, or that everyone there could care less about the product or you and only wants your money. To counter that you should focus on our culture of learning, and community spirit. You should tell them about our many streams of support like 3 levels of sponsors, Ask SC, A2A, and the Forums before you ever even have to consider a support ticket.
Stability and explaining that SFI has been an industry leader for 16 years, and a Bronze member of the Better Business Bureau for 14 years, while Parent Company Carson Services has 28 years in Network Marketing will resonate with them.
