Set a goal to meet at least one new person a day. When you first meet a new person the goal is not to introduce any business or product. The goal is to get to know the person on a personal level and allow them to get to know you on a personal level.
When I am out and about doing my normal lifestyle activities I like to engage in friendly conversations with the people I meet. For example, at a visit to my doctor while waiting in the lobby for my appointment, I usually strike up conversations with people who are waiting just like I am. The conversation is about the weather, the shoes they have on, and their hairstyle or sometimes the person even looks familiar to me.
Once, a conversation gets started, I let it flow. I enjoy the flow and I listen to hear a need or concern. Then, I tell my related story, sharing my experience with the common problems we all have and information about the solution I found to help me get what I needed. For instance, a health issue like being pre or post-menopausal problems and the solution I have found is taking vitamins.

I tell them the doctor knows I am taking it, and advise them to discuss it with the doctor for themselves. For me, there is no pressure to sale anything. I see myself as a person who seeks to serve and fill the common needs that everybody has. First, everyone needs to be as healthy as possible.
