I was a little shy at talking about somethings to people as well. Although SFI has many marketing materials, this helped me a lot, because it was my work for my business in SFI. So thinking out of the box, I created a small brochure (sort of like a church tract) and carried some of them with me.
I had information about all the things of SFI I was passionate about. I also asked myself, what would someone ask about SFI, that I could put into the brochure? So behind the first page, I listed some of the benefits of SFI. https://www.sfimg.com/Reference/ComparisonChart
The next page I had information about TripleClicks, http://www.tripleclicks.com/
And on the final page I had my contact information in case they wanted more information later on down the line. I had one friend come back to ask me how the business is going and that they are really considering signing up.
I'm a firm believer that once I get my Payoneer Card, that will seal the deal with a few people I've given my little brochure to. As a small tip with strangers. When I overhear a conversation in reference to having their own business. I walk up to them and say, "Excuse me I overheard your conversation and wanted to give you this gift!" I hand them my brochure and quietly walk away.
