SFI has a great 'hit tracking' system that facilitates us in our advertising. Keycodes and hit tracking go together. We can set our own keycodes for each gateways that we promote, so that we know from which sites we are getting more sign ups. This help us to focus more on sites that bring us results and boost our business.
We can use different key codes for different gateways and advertising sites.
One of my example: http://www.sfi4.com/xxxxxxxx/12/FREE. I use this to advertise on Twitter. Keycodes can be between 2-4 digits. However, there are three key codes used excusively by SFI and Tripleclick only. These are:
1101- for affiliates from S-builder.
1200- for affiliates who were not referred to SFI by anyone.
1300- for tripleclick members via the TC Tell-A-friend feature.
SFI hit tracking system resets automatically on every Sunday. However, we can always reset it anytime we want.
