Hit Tracking feature gives you the number of hits or views your SFI or TC gateways gets.
You can easily know how many views your each gateway gets and through which key code. I use many key codes. I have unique key code like 4256 when i advertise on facebook. 3245 when posting on classified sites and many more. It gives you better result as through which advertising you are getting more views and which advertising is not working. When you have the details you can leave the advertising which are working poorly and stick with the best working advertisement. If you are using more than 1 paid advertising then it's better to use key codes to get the best result. You can easily reset the hits on your hit tracking page and you will get the exact result of number of views your gateways get.
