Since many sponsors are working with hundreds of affiliates you may try to reserve non urgent questions until you have 2-3 to ask.
I wouldn't be the person who goes to their sponsor on every question for sure. Where possible do your research, use the search box, forum, Ask SC, and Support FAQ's as much as possible so you can focus on what hasn't already been covered a hundred times over.
Where possible I urge teams to work together on Skype or other IM software so you can have that constant moral support and not feel like you are alone in this business. If possible I suggest sponsors put together not less than a weekly team meeting via Google Hangouts or Skype. The live contact is inspiring.
