Well, I would say that there are no rules for that..
You contact your sponsor or co-sponsor any time you need help..They are here to help you as much as they can..
But you have to have limits..dont ask contact them for all questions you have, just for urgent ones..because, they also need to do their job and to help many other memebers!!
