You have a chance to win them in the T Time Drawing, several other contests, you get them from Wave 3, as rewards for Status, and as incentives from your sponsor. You can also use them to purchase items from TC, though they are more expensive used in this manner.
They can be considered as universal money going from a sponsor in one country to an affiliate in another. The TCredit Ledger is like a bank account keeping track of an affiliates TCredits. And you can't loose any TCredts out of a hole in your pocket while you are playing the games.
