I am assuming a poor rating to be below the 3-point mark. Don’t be distressed because not everyone is honest in their rating. First of all, I have not seen any statement where SFI has given any indicators of how this rating should be done, therefore , the results may be very subjective. Some affiliates complete the form just to receive the Versa Points!
All affiliates should be grateful to their sponsors for introducing them to this program. I am certain that you have made attempts to contact them in one way or the other, apart from the usual initial message that is sent automatically.
It might be prudent to ask the affiliate exactly what is being rated: your communication skills: i.e. your ability to express facts and ideas clearly and convincingly; your planning and preparedness: i.e. your ability to anticipate, determine goals, identify relevant information, set priorities and deadlines and create a shared vision for your team.
I think, if the ‘what’ is clearly defined by/to the affiliate, the result of the rating may change tremendously. Unless that is done, there will always be an unbalanced approach to the rating. Just continue to be an awesome sponsor!
