There are two reasons why this may happen.
1. These days, most people spend their shift in a cubicle or at the same station day in and day out, with little hope - or help - to get ahead. So here we are, offering them the world on a platter, along with every tip, resource and creative idea we know of to encourage them to do something great of their own. Although we are sincere, they may find it hard to believe. Also, a lot of people would rather live with the devil they know, rather than the angel they don't know. Starting something of your own with no time clock, structure or snarky supervisor is an unknown world. It can be very scary for many people. They don't get it, and they never will.
If you are sincerely doing everything you can to support them, don't worry about it. These folks will either get with the program or opt out. Either way, your rating will go up. I know it's sad. If you're like me, you want everyone to be successful, especially those on YOUR team. However, there are some who will just not take that leap of faith.
2. Thèir finger slipped. Although we have a stellar site, those stars are unforgiving! I have arthritis, and find myself giving the wrong rating all the time. Just believe that they MEANT to give you high score, (at least the first couple of times)......
