With my wife it didn't take much convincing. If you own a business of any type an investment in its growth is vital. A Home business is no less a real business. It requires a license and a place to work. It requires effort and learning, and will take time. It requires advertising and someone has to make a sale for the owners to take profits. There is NO Difference in a Home Business and any other venture beyond the fact that we require less initial capital outlay and have lower risk should failure occur.
Be confident and even offer to work hand in hand with them so they understand the business and feel a part of what you are doing. Don't have doubts, don't come off sounding like you are scared or unsure. Be determined and show them your progress. Help them envision the potential and see the reality.
