Personally I do have a tight budget I live month to month on disability anything extra left over at the end of the month goes toward advertising my website and ads. I set aside every month for $58 to come out of my PayPal account for (2) 100 packs of TCredits so I can try and maintain my BTL with my small team, so far I have done well.
Another thing I do is I place several FREE ads through out the week. I know people say free ads do not pay off and are time consuming but for me they work fairly well.
when I have some extra time I also like to go to traffic exchanges and just view other peoples ads for credits to get my site viewed doing this several days a week has generated a few leads here and there over the last year maybe 2-3 a month but every little bit of advertising helps especially the free ones there are so many free ad sites out there I have just scratched the surface
I just google different keywords and scroll through the pages and pages of websites till I find one I like and then I bookmark them till I get a chance to post there
one final thing I'd like to mention is buying from your own TripleClicks store when I needed a new usb adapter for my Ipad I looked here first and found one! and any Christmas and birthday shopping I do I look here at my shop first before I go to Walmart or Amazon. It's a good habit to get into because we might not have everything here YET but we will one day and a lot of ECA's offer free shipping too
