When choosing items to sell at TripleClicks you must consider more than just cheap or expensive or the ability of your customers to pay for them.
When you are an ECA, you chose what percentage of the price you will give TC for their administration of the sale. 15 % is the least. This percentage and the asking price of an item determines partially how much VP and CV goes with the item it all comes out of that little 15 %. This is often a determining factor in whether an affiliate will buy your item or go elsewhere. It also helps determine whether an affiliate will advertise your item.
So generally, the least expensive items, though they may be top quality, do not carry the kind of VP and CV that the more expensive items do. While people may only need 50 VP to fill the last bit of their 1500 or 3000 VP and may grab at your item, you will have to sell quite a number of them before you can pay all of your SFI expenses from your sales.
First you must decide why you want to sell items as an ECA. Then decide if you want the high end products or the low end. And then again, you may just want to have fun and sell what you want.
