I have just recently joined a2a, but from what I see it is pretty much the same as the other groups I have been associated with. It is a group of people that get together to talk about what they enjoy, their children and grandchildren, where to go on vacation ect.
Most of the people in these groups are more than willing to lend a hand, give support or give advice, but they need to hear from you that you want something and what that something is.
Some people are open to receiving advice or support from others even if they did not ask for it. Others are not that open and a few are upset when they receive advice that was not solicited. This makes many people a little shy about giving advice if it was not specifically ask for.
If there is something you need help with or you are unsure of ask your a2a friends. They may surprise you.
