You have asked a great question. One of my favorites. By asking this question I believe that you are a comical and friendly person who loves people and likes to network and make new friends right!
In light of the above I must confess to you that a2a is indeed a great place to find new friends and connect with other SFI'S. I can testify that I have been a direct beneficiary of priceless help and support from my a2a friends. In fact to an extend that I felt like switching sponsors because of the care and support I got from my amazing a2a friends. I wish I could put them on the spotlight but I am not too sure they would like me to do that.
How Did i do it?
1. Go To SFI Forums
By going to and choosing a Forum you like you can and will be able to see and rate the type of a2a friend you would like to connect with by their level of experience. I don't think you would want to connect with someone who is on the same level as you are.
2. Start Contributing posts or comments in the Forum and get noticed
When you do that fellow forum colleagues begin to notice you and some may even send you a2a friendship requests. Please make sure that what you share is very meaningful. I have gotten many a2a friendship requests through this process alone.
3. Go to Your A2A page and ask to be a friend
They say that to get a friend be A friend. It's as simple as that. SFI has made it simple to be friends with other a2a's. Simply click on the person's name and then click on the a2a request icon below their picture and wait for them to accept your request. In most cases I have received a positive feedback because people love to connect.
4. Connect with fellow Country mates
Did you also know that it's very easy actually easier to connect with your fellow country mates? Yes it is because they most likely would feel more comfortable working and connecting with a fellow country mate before anyone else. It's so simple because SFI makes those a2a country connect suggestions daily on your a2a page.
5. Connect with the Best
Have you heard of the saying that "eagles will always fly with eagles?" Depending on what you are looking for or how you want to be helped. It would be great to connect with people from whom you would like to learn something. Most or all of my a2a friends are very serious business men and women. Most were champions in their class and they inspire me to want to be like them.
6. Caution! Avoid Cross Solicitation
It goes without saying that SFI is very strict with cross solicitation. If you are ever caught doing it. Too bad because that's the end of your business with SFI. That sin attracts very stiff penalties.
7. Don't forget To Thank Your New Friend For connecting
It's courtesy to tell someone that I am grateful to you for accepting my a2a friendship with you. You know! They say that before you ask for help or a hand first of all touch a heart. A simple thank you message for them works wonders like magic. Once that rapport is established you now have the chance to ask for assistance from your new friend.
