I'd say that you have yet to meet the individuals that will carry you to success, that close family and freinds don't make the best business partners.
I'd say it's easier to find strangers who will join than to convince those you know.
I'd say it's to your advantage not knowing too many people, because you will find ways of getting to know thousands.I'd then suggest a few examples of how to find the right type of person.
You see your success is dependant on finding likeminded individuals who share your dream and passion to build an online business. It's unlikely that you know any, and if you do will they join you? It's better to first get involved in SFI, become an expert in the business, then use SFI methods to find affiliates. Once you've established yourself and are seen to be succesful approach your freinds and family. At that stage their criticism wont matter and you may get one or two joining you.
You can also tell others who have the same objection to joining, that when you started you knew nobody and nothing about the business, and what you found was a support system that trained you how to overcome all obstacles. You only need five good affiliates, but to find them will mean recruiting many.So not knowing many people should be seen as an oppotunity to learn and overcome obstacles. SFI teaches life lessons, it will teach you how to expand your group of freinds and business associates. So what have you got to lose?
